Five Seasons of Creative Partnership with the Brampton Honey Badgers
For the past five seasons, Top Shelf Media has proudly partnered with the Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), delivering complete media day production, photography, videography, motion graphics, and videoboard content for one of Canada's premier professional basketball organizations.
From our studio and headquarters in Hamilton, Ontario, our team travels to the CAA Centre in Brampton each season to transform an empty arena into a fully functioning media production environment. Every detail is planned, built, transported, installed, operated, and captured by our team, allowing the Honey Badgers to receive professional content that powers everything from game presentation to marketing campaigns throughout the season. The Brampton Honey Badgers compete at the CAA Centre, one of Ontario's premier basketball venues and home to the CEBL franchise.

Photo & Video
Capturing everything simultaneously
Throughout our partnership, we have produced:
Player headshots
Action photography
Team photography
Social media content
Marketing imagery
Promotional videos
Player introductions
Sponsor assets
Website photography
Digital advertising content
Broadcast-ready media
Because photography and video are captured simultaneously, organizations receive a complete content library that can be used across every department without scheduling multiple production days.

Motion Graphics
Custom Motion Graphics
Professional basketball demands high-energy visuals that engage fans before tip-off, during introductions, throughout gameplay, and after every big moment.
Top Shelf Media creates custom motion graphics specifically for basketball organizations, including:
Player introduction animations
Starting lineup graphics
LED ribbon content
Main videoboard animations
Crowd prompts
Timeout entertainment graphics
Sponsor integrations
Matchup graphics
Statistical templates
Social media motion graphics
Hype videos
Season launch content
Every animation is designed around the team's existing brand standards while maximizing the capabilities of the arena's videoboard system.
Whether content is displayed on the centre-hung videoboard, ribbon boards, concourse displays, or digital signage throughout the arena, we create assets that work seamlessly across every screen.
Complete Arena Production
Our work starts before sunrise.
Each media day involves transporting production equipment from Hamilton to Brampton before unloading and building an entire production studio inside the CAA Centre.
Our team manages:
Equipment transportation
Unloading
Lighting design
Set construction
Camera systems
Video production
Photography stations
Creative direction
On-site workflow
Breakdown and load-out
By handling every stage internally, organizations have one creative partner instead of coordinating multiple vendors.
