The Top Shelf Media team put together a wide range of motion graphics based on the club's needs.
Every team has a story, and your motion graphics should reflect it. For the Niagara IceDogs, we developed a complete suite of custom videoboard animations and motion graphics built around their "Dog Country" identity. Rather than relying on generic hockey templates, every animation was designed to capture the grit and attitude of the brand through traditional paper rip textures, layered typography, distressed elements, and bold movement. Below was our initial design concept.
Working with the team
Moving away from blacks and reds.
Following the team's creative direction, we intentionally stayed away from red tones, instead building a visual language that complemented the IceDogs' existing branding while creating a fresh, modern game presentation. From player introductions and starting lineups to goal celebrations, matchup graphics, sponsor integrations, and crowd prompts, every asset was created to feel uniquely Niagara. At Top Shelf Media, we work directly with teams to develop custom motion graphics packages that strengthen their brand, elevate the fan experience, and create a cohesive visual identity across videoboards, social media, and in-arena entertainment.
